Asian reports confirmed OpenBet's 7-year contract to provide sports betting products and services to Singapore Pools.
The provider was chosen from an open Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise in February 2014 started by Singapore Pools.
“Signing with Singapore Pools is a landmark win for OpenBet," said OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill.
Singapore Pools, established in 1968, is the provider of legal lottery and sports betting and donates proceeds to good causes and charity.
Tote Board owns Singapore Pools, reports to the Singapore Ministry of Finance and recently applied to be excluded from the city-state's blanket ban on remote gambling.

Singapoor government must face a big problem.Illegal gambling is a very popular in Singapoor. There were many times when you heard about some men gets inprisoned because of their bets in Singapoor. There is a lot of money from the country budget that is lost because of this.

Singapoor has big problem with illegal betting, and I rememer some case from previous year when they have match from Montenegro league which didn't exist at all. I believe that this kind of news can bring on lot of good news for betting experts in this country but somehow I don't have a trust at all
