Top-Notch Computer Scientist
During his previous spell with Novomatic, Czapkiewicz has been responsible for driving forward numerous projects in which his computer science expertise came to prominence...
...Mostly international in nature, these ventures, as well as his work for the Research and Development department in his role as a Managing Director of Novomatic Gamign Industries GmbH, earned him trust with the high officials who offered him a seat in Executive Board.
The Board currently consists of CEO, Harald Neumann, CIO Dr. Christian Widhalm, COO Ryszard Presch, CTO Thomas Graf, CFO Peter Stein and SCO, Bartholomäus Czapkiewicz.
More Efficient Processes Ahead
Head of Novomatic's Supervisory Board, Dr. Bernd Oswald, stated that the entire company is thrilled with its new member of the Executive Board, “an internationally-experienced Research and Development mathematician.”
Noting that Czapkiewicz's main focus will be system and platform solutions, he added: “Over the past few years, Bartholomäus Czapkiewicz has played a decisive role in successfully expanding our innovative abilities. On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to wish Mr. Czapkiewicz all the best and a great deal of success in his new role.”
The new CSO himself had a few words to share concerning his appointment:
“I am looking forward to the new challenge and would like to say thank you for the trust placed in me. Now, as part of the successful Executive Team, my goal, in particular, is to continue development in system and platform solutions, and ensure that our processes become even more efficient as we look towards the future.”
Novomatic, which owns 28 technology centers in 16 countries, has always put a significant emphasis on Research and Development – in the last three years alone, the company has invested circa 300 Euros in this department.
A Year of Technological Breakthroughs
Beside being the most financially lucrative yet, 2018 was good to Novomatic when it comes to research and implementation of tech features...
...in particular, their collaborative effort with International Game Technology has put them under spotlight this spring due to integration of patented game features that have greatly enhanced the quality of their products.
This fall, it has been brought to everyone's attention that the company would be focusing on ramping up their slot development range on this year's G2E in Las Vegas, where they have showcased their most recent accomplishments in online gaming.
