How many NetEnt fans do we have here at LCB? Everyone goes for their hottest games like Jack and the Bean Stalk, South Park and Guns ‘N’ Roses. For those of us who can’t, we wish we could. As one of the most in-demand online game providers of our time, NetEnt is about to blow up in the United Kingdom’s retail market following a deal, the second of its kind , that will see its games licensed out to Paddy Power. What does this mean? Well, if you’re lucky enough to be in the UK, you will now have the luxury of walking into a Paddy Power betting shop to play your favorite online games offline!
The provider first entered the UK’s retail gambling market in 2015 after William Hill signed on to deliver NetEnt content via its retail betting shops. The first game, Starburst, went live in the summer of 2015 after the finalization of the agreement was approved for the UK Licensed Betting Office (LBO) market.
Paddy Power currently has 339 licensed betting shops across the UK with a total of 1,300+ gaming machines preparing to load these games for the first time.
Enrico Bradamante, Chief of European Market Operations and MD of NetEnt Malta Ltd, commented, “I am very pleased that we are extending our partnership with Paddy Power to include distribution to gaming machines in their betting shops. I am confident that their players will enjoy our thrilling, award-winning games.”
