Microgaming Brings 20+ Games in February from Independent Studios

As we say goodbye to January, it’s time to take a look at this month’s fabulous line-up of latest Microgaming releases, as the industry’s foremost content aggregator gets ready to once again roll out more than 20 new games in less than 30 days.

Fresh off the press are 10 titles from Microgaming’s exclusive independent studios All41, PearFiction, JFTW and more, as well as over 10 enticing offerings from its up-and-coming content partners. As the report reads, each game is packed with engaging features and mind-blowing game mechanics, including a brand-new collection of rogues, gangsters, ghouls, jokers and pirates.

From Prohibition to Fresh Licks of Paint

The month of February gets under way with Microgaming’s exclusivity announcement with PearFiction. This agreement is crowned with the launch of a cartoon mobster caper Chicago Gold. It plays out on five reels and 20 pay lines, while the story deals with the 1920s Prohibition-era in the Windy City.

As players fight organized crime gangs to take control of the streets under the watchful eye of the ‘Big Boss’, they might encounter a Jackpot Reveal Game when the jackpot symbol appears on the reels with any collect symbol. Next on the schedule is Juicy Joker Mega Moolah, one of the latest incarnations of the world’s most famous progressive slot jackpot. Developed by Just For The Win, this game stays true to the original but it features a brand-new bonus round where players have an opportunity to experience the thrill of spinning the jackpot wheel. By landing three joker symbols, the wheel may offer a chance to strike one of four jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major and Mega, whereby the last one pays a seven-figure sum.

Following this magnificent interpretation of Mega Moolah is 6 Tokens of Gold from All41 Studios. The release includes many elements of classic, old-school fruit machines but it also comes with a fresh lick of paint.

Thanks to the HyperHold mechanic, players will be able to hit streaks of respin bonus features which are triggered when six or more coins land on the reels in the base game or during complimentary rounds. When landing a gold coin, the respins reset to three and by filling all 15-coin positions, customers may even win the Mega jackpot!

Adventures and Carnivals

Among the latest releases with the HyperHold mechanic is also a new pirate-themed slot from Triple Edge Studios, called Adventures of Doubloon Island. It is based on hunting for booty as a member of the buccaneer crew that haunts the reels.

When three or more scatters appear on the grid, players can amass 15 to 100 times total stake, but also trigger complimentary spins. Six or more HyperHold symbols on the reels activate the feature, allowing skull symbols to reveal one of four jackpots.
