MGA Welcomes Everyone to GREF Conference

The Malta Gaming Authority has just unveiled that it will be the host of the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) in Malta. The event is set to take place between 20-22 May, as well as to gather together 90 representatives from 35 states to participate in different discussions, share their expertise and work on new trends and ideas within the sector.

Speaking on the upcoming event, Kinga Warda, MGA’s Chief Officer – Policy and International Affairs, says they are happy to be selected as the host for the annual conference of GREF. This occasion is a unique chance for regulators to join together, share knowledge, and take care of ongoing challenges in the sector.

He added:

“We look forward to welcoming esteemed regulators from across Europe to Malta, as we strive to further strengthen collaboration and drive regulatory excellence.”

More About Forum

Founded in 1989, GREF enables constructive dialogue between regulators, showcasing diverse perspectives, while also working as a focal point of communication for authorities and organizations looking for suggestions from European gaming regulators.

MGA was already in charge of another prominent conference for GREF back in 2016. It was the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) that was the place where advisors and regulators met together to share their interesting insights about the gaming sector.

Recent Appointment at MGA

Malta Gaming Authority continues to be one of the most known regulators in the sector, boosting its efforts to make the industry more regulated. The company has recently strengthened its team with another member, Charles Mizzi who will work as Chief Executive Officer. The new hire will be part of the company for the following five years and he will continue building the MGA foundation.
