The coming together of Kindred Group and Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) was revealed in an official press release disclosed late last week. The joint alliance between the two important online gaming brands comes as a part of both companies' efforts to broaden and develop the affiliate compliance process.
According to the signed agreement, GiG Comply marketing compliance technology will be deployed in order to track the brand’s content and affiliate activity...
...while Kindred will be making most of the deal by monitoring “various promotional content promotions” via text, image and banners in their brands via self-service monitoring technology services.
A Very Powerful Tool
According to the press statement...
...GiG is capable of searching and scanning up to 30,000 web pages per day which it uses to compile a list of all web locations where a certain brand is mentioned – also on a daily basis.
GiG's Chief Operations Officer, Richard Brown, commended Kindred for being one of the leaders in gambling compliance and noted that they share the same ambition for a safe and trusted gambling environment.
“Our leading marketing and compliance technology will allow the Kindred affiliates team to monitor and control affiliate mentions, alongside their existing processes.”
Kindred's own Head of Affiliates, Ryan Henderson, comments:
“I am looking forward to working with the GiG Comply product to strengthen our existing compliance processes and ensure our affiliate activity is compliant and sustainable.”
A Bevvy of Brand-New Duties
Kindred has reported an annual 20.8% rise in gaming revenue which totaled $1.18 billion. Sportsbook operations contributed significantly – its share was up 25.7% year-on-year.
The operator has agreed a milestone deal with Pennsylvania's Mohegan Sun Casino in Pocono. The distribution of online and land-based betting services has been the main agenda of two brands' negotiation...
...with partnership talks ending with a signing of a five-year contract, with a provision of two five-year extensions, should both parties be satisfied with the collaboration.
The group will be making their way to the French market where they will team up with Relax Gaming, whose platform Kindred will endow with a suite of poker games.
GiG's Fourth Ever In-House Slot
Gaming Innovation Group also had some big announcements recently:
Most notably, they have unveiled their very own in-house game, Popstar. The 5x4 slot is their fourth ever release of this kind.
Speaking about the game, GiG Games' managing director Mathias Larsson said:
“This game is a collaboration between GiG Games and the Swedish music artist Erik Segerstedt. Erik has produced all the sound and special effects for the game. Erik is also releasing an album, two songs which are also featured in the game.”
