1X2 Network, a powerful provider of online casino games and aggregator, has unveiled that current CEO Sean St. John is resigning after more than two decades. Following the new announcement, the brand’s Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Reid will take his place.
St. John established the business of the aggregator along with Brian Reid in 2002. He was responsible for both the technical and product departments. He also led the 1X2 Network squads in developing successful virtual sports content, an aggregation platform for games studios, multiple slots, and Megaways releases such as Megaways Jack, 1 Million Megaways BC, and the Branded Megaways.
St. John was also in charge of creating Iron Dog Studio to be part of the 1X2gaming team. It resulted in the prize for the Slot Supplier of the Year at the EGR 2021 B2B awards. He will stay with the company in a new product role, supervising the content creation and innovation endeavors.
Reid became part of 1X2 Network in November 2012 and has been in charge of the commercial operation of the group. Over the same time, 1X2 Network has turned into a leading provider of the most popular online slots and casino games in the market.
Following the CEO role, Reid will manage 1X2 Network as well as 1X2gaming and Iron Dog Studio subsidiaries. He will also guide the direction of the company as 1X2 Network continues to enter new markets. He will have support from the senior commercial staff.
Commenting on his decision, Sean St. John said:
“It has been an honor to serve as CEO of 1X2 Network for 20 years and to watch the business grow from a small but ambitious studio into a tier-one provider with several subsidiaries and a portfolio of award-winning content.
“From day one we have pursued a strategy of creating games that will engage and entertain players and to make those games available to operators in regulated markets. It has proved to be a very successful strategy and one that I am proud to have overseen.
According to his words, the time is right to step down from the duty of CEO and he looks forward to the future knowing that the provider is in great hands with Kevin taking the position. He is delighted to continue assisting the brand during such a period of growth, so he is confident that the brand has the right team to keep the current results and progress even more.

Changes are always positive and I think that Reid will be perfect choice for the new CEO. However, I am also impressed by Sean St. John’s results…
