With a history of game development, Gaming Corps entered the iGaming market in 2020 with its first online slot game, ‘Book of Pirates’. The Malta-licensed developer offers a portfolio of casino games and slots. ‘Mighty Mammoth’ launched as 2023 came to a close and 2024 begins with the launch of ‘Golden Dragon Wealth’ slot. We’re bringing you and exclusive interview with Head of Games at Gaming Corps, Connor Blinman.

It’s my job to oversee the game strategy and product development cycles of each of our iGaming products while contributing day-to-day as a Product Owner. This means I work closely with our mathematician, art director and developers to produce top-tier entertainment.”
Q: We know things are busy behind the scenes at your Sweden, Malta, and Ukraine offices. Let’s start with history and an overview on the company and its products.
A: At Gaming Corps we produce a range of products across many genres. In February 2020 we obtained our Malta Gaming Authority license and since then we have greatly increased our scale of production and quality of products.
We have been known to specialize in Arcade content, such as Mines, Crash and Plinko. We were one of the first companies to get regulatory approval for a Plinko game and we paved the way for this genre of product. We work very closely with our partners to create bespoke games and branded content, allowing players to experience our content on their favourite brands.
We also have a suite of table game products and video slots. Since late 2022 we’ve delivered one slot game per month across various themes and mechanics, giving us the ability to widen our audience and obtain great player familiarity.
Q: Mighty Mammoth, a 576 ways to win video slot, launched on December 14, 2023. Tell us more about the release.
A: Mighty Mammoth was one of our biggest releases of the year! We wanted to end 2023 with a bang, and this game certainly delivered. It has a strong theme, is instantly recognizable and immediately grabs the player’s attention. The artwork is stunning and the animations are fantastic. Then we have the unique mechanics and high volatility gameplay that keeps players coming back for more, as they chase the wins with the Mighty Mammoth.
The gameplay is set during the Ice Age and players can see Mammoth stacks land on any spin. These Mammoth stacks can contain multipliers of X4, X6, X8 or X10. Land Mammoth stacks on adjacent reels and these Multipliers will combine up to X1000! Chase three Golden Acorn Scatters to be awarded Free Spins, where every three Scatters collected will progress you through the bonus and guarantee higher multipliers on the Mammoth stacks.
Q: You’re also kicking off 2024 with the debut of a new slot, Golden Dragon Wealth. It’s anticipated to feature 243 ways to win and Dragon wilds. What else can you share about this exciting release?
A: Golden Dragon Wealth is our Lunar New Year slot game, and our first venture into the classical oriental style of slot game. Our art director, Qianqian Liu, has been very keen to work on this style of game and she has nailed the aesthetics. With this game, we’ve gone for a straight-up Expanding Wilds game, where if the player lands a Dragon Wild on Reels 2, 3 or 4 it will expand to fill the reels and connect to form winning combinations.
The player has the choice to choose the volatility level at which they want to play during the Free Spins feature. With Multipliers in the Free Spins, any wins involving a Dragon Wild or standard Wild will become multiplied, making the Free Spins full of action!
For the player who likes to take a risk, there is also a “Mystery” option that allows the player to get a large number of Free Spins with higher multipliers.
Q: There are two blackjack variations in the Gaming Corps table games portfolio. Can we expect any new additions in the new year?
A: We actually have six variations - standard, Multihand, VIP, 21+3, Perfect Pairs, and Bonus Wheel. We feel as if we have covered a lot here and currently, we’re making sure we’re innovating in a lot of our other spaces - particularly in the arcade section - so the focus is not just on the table games.
Of course, if somebody internally or externally comes to us with a fantastic idea then we will be sure to follow it up and potentially incorporate it into our roadmap next year.
Q: Speaking of the portfolio, let’s talk about the functionality of Multiplier Games, an interesting series from Gaming Corps.
A: Multiplier games, or Crash games as they are also commonly known, are something we’ve seen great success with and their enduring popularity among players has proved time and time again how they’re a much-loved genre. We see great player numbers in LATAM and Africa for these products, and our Jet Lucky 2 and Stormy Witch games are our most popular.
In 2024 we are looking to create regionally targeted Multiplier/Crash games we are sure players will love. We’re also planning to release a game type that’s brand new to the online space and one we believe is going to be a product genre which defines 2024!
