Back GVC Holdings Funds US Problem Gambling Report

Online betting group GVC Holdings proves their allegiance and commitment to dealing with issues such as problem gambling and addiction, aside from being the provider of awesome iGaming content...

...The company has announced they will be funding the long-term study dealing with problem gambling conducted by the US National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).

Serving Higher Purpose

The major report should shed much light into the causes and solutions to problem gambling in the US. GVC, who owns brands such as Bwin, PartyPoker and Ladbrokes said they will support NCPG in “providing advocacy, awareness and assistance needed to promote the responsible gaming behaviors.”

Their CEO, Kenneth Alexander, commented: “Joining the NCPG’s President’s Circle reinforces our commitment to ensure that GVC promotes the highest standards of responsible gaming while ensuring our customers can enjoy our products in a safe environment.”

GVC has recently agreed to a partnership with MGM, which will elevate sports betting competition in US to a whole new level.

The Goals of the Study

The company also joined the NCPG's President's Circle which advocated the need for additional programmes and services that would address the problem gamblers' struggles nation-wide...

...Being a member, GVC will invest into a study called “The National Survey of Gambling in America” which will help identify the prevalence of gambling in the US, all of its symptoms and forms.

The report should provide more basis for understanding problematic behavior linked to gambling.

NCPG's executive director, Keith Whyte, welcomed GVC to their ranks: “We warmly welcome GVC to the President’s Circle. As a global leader in online gaming, GVC’s experience and operational excellence are a huge asset to NCPG and we look forward to working with them to develop and affirm national standards in responsible gaming.”
