Genting UK has partnered with IGT to launch a brand-new video slot tournament game - SpinSplosion. The game will be offered at Genting Casino Manchester and Genting International Casino Birmingham, and will make Genting the first UK casino operator to distribute it. The company is also planning to launch the game in Genting Casino Westcliff, Southampton, and Sheffield in November.
Sharon Lynch, Senior Electronic Gaming Manager at Genting UK didn’t hide her excitement when announcing the news. The new title is the latest video slot in IGT’s TournXtreme product line (see below), following spinning reel slots and poker games. The game can be placed on any CrystalDual or CrystalSlant cabinet.
IGT boasts of SpinSplosion being capable of delivering “the most versatile and interactive tournament offering available.” The statement relates to the game allowing for easy switching between any of IGT’s coin-in themes and “a promotional tournament event” - with a single push of a button.
The game gives a modern twist to popular classic tournaments and displays interactive features, most popular ones of which include “Blast” symbols, wilds, raining parachutes, and launcher shooting. Namely, players are to collect points, which are accumulated when symbols touch while descending from the top to the bottom of the screen - before they disappear.
TournXtreme is a premium tournament solution that increases tournament efficiency and reduces strain on staff resources. It turns coin-in slot titles into tournaments with a single click, thus removing the need for manual adjustments per machine. The product line also cross-promotes multiple properties by running multi-site tournaments.
