Back GAN Enters Pennsylvanian iGaming Market With Cordish Deal

GAN’s PlayLive! Branded iGaming site has been launched in Pennsylvania through a partnership with Cordish Gaming Group, which is a global gaming division of Cordish Company, the entertainment business and real estate company.

Players in this US state, which has legalized online gambling last year, will gain access to a wide array of online slots, table games and non-traditional online gambling games.

The Deal Details

Apart of launching with a different array of games…

…the deal will see the GAN platform integrated with Cordish Company’s “Live! Rewards” program. The program will allow users in the state to enroll online for Live! Rewards Players Card. Clients can also use them at two new Cordish Live! Land-based casinos in PA.

One new casino property will be opened in Pittsburgh before 2020 ends, followed by another in Philadelphia in early 2021.

GAN’s CEO Dermot Smorfit said of this deal:

“We are pleased to have launched ‘PlayLive!’ on behalf of Cordish, one of the nation’s leading casino and entertainment companies and an existing GAN client, and look forward to continuing to support the growth of their business by providing a seamless and entertaining online experience for their users.”

GAN’s and Cordish’s partnership has existed for some time and in May, this particular deal was announced. Their deal has brought to life GAN’s Simulated Gaming, that was launched in 2015. It is complementing the Live! Casino & Hotel at Arundel Mills in Maryland.

Developments in PA

The online gaming and sports betting scene in Pennsylvania is booming…

…ever since the two have been legalized in the recent year or two, more and more operators are looking to start their businesses in this thriving US state.

Recently, DraftKings has launched an app for its online casino in PA.

This makes Pennsylvania the second state after New Jersey to gain a DraftKings online casino app. It will let users gain access not only to slot games but also to table staples such as Blackjack and Roulette.

PA casinos were also affected by the global health crisis, but have started to see some upward movements in late May, at least in online gambling sectors.
