The Finland based company Finnplay has launched a sports betting kiosk solution for Simplebet located in Ghana.
Erkki Nikunen, VP sales for Finnplay, said: “Africa is a rapidly expanding market for sports betting both land-based and online. Our BillFold Kiosk Platform is designed for any form of gaming at a physical location. For Simplebet we integrated a betting product from Betinaction to deliver the requirements needed for the Simplebet business.”
Ernest Badu, managing director of Simplebet, said: “We have been operating in Ghana for several years as a licensed betting agency. As our business has grown, we needed to scale the business and select a technology partner with expertise within retail sports betting. Finnplay's kiosk solution met all our local requirements, both technically and commercially and we look forward to continuing to grow our business.”

Yeah I'm definitely agree that Africa is rapidly expanding market for sports betting and this gives many new opportunities to Finnplay. Obviously Simplebet all ready have an experience at the gambling market in Ghana although I don't know what licensed betting agency exactly means. For sure this deal will be a positive...

They positioned themselves on new market and this is logical business plan for every company. I really don't know what is situation with betting in Ghana, but I believe that Finnplay did some research for their sake, and I can see that players in Ghana could be attracted with their offer.
