A month into their new role of ''the best Aussie online casino'', 24 Pokies falls head-first into the dark pit of LCB's blacklisted sites. They tried to play the part of good guys and, judging by the intricate design, wealth of games and encouraging descriptions of the website and services, they prepared well and almost got into character. But, there are a few little things that seemed to have slipped their minds: a license and genuine software. Why bother with such trivialities as fairness, honesty, legal protection or slots that can actually pay back some of the money we put in?
Unverified License
Open for international audience, but geared towards Australian markets, 24 Pokies launched in 2017 looking like any other average gaming site. We all know there are harsh times ahead for players from Australia, where new restrictive laws have their online gambling options significantly reduced. That's why when a fresh casino launches catering to this region, many jump the gun and deposit before checking the facts. The first unsettling fact is the absence of license information: in the T&C, they mention Red Baron Group N.V., allegedly registered in Curacao. Without a license number and link, this proves nothing and for all intents and purposes, the site is illegitimate and operates out of legal boundaries. Furthermore, we are familiar with Red Baron group, which seems to also own 77Jackpot and Ares casinos, both overly suspicious venues with shady games and a hefty batch of customer complaints!
No Genuine Games
But you don't really need to look any further than featured slots to see something is amiss. Among other software products, they offer Novomatic, IGT, Playtech, BetSoft, Amatic and Net Entertainment slots. Players from Australia are RESTRICTED from real-money deposits on any game from these providers, so the casino owners are either oblivious to important gambling regulations, which is hard to believe, or they are double-crossers and predators looking to exploit vulnerable gamblers from this region. The latter is, unfortunately, more likely to be true. All games are fake, with launchers forged to look exactly as the real ones, so the only way to prove they are not authentic is via source code inspection.
Marvel's Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, X-Men (in the screenshot below) and several other titles, discontinued by the provider long ago, are still available here, so they can't be genuine even if you disregard all other details. Playtech fakes are hosted on https://cache1-32f9.kxcdn.com:
Pirated versions of IGT games, are perfect copies of the originals, indistinguishable from genuine slots with absolutely no difference. They are hosted on http://cdn.gamesapi.net, and use nscode and skincode parameters in the URL like IGT does, but these refer to Mr Green Casino, to Golden Goddess slot as shown in the screenshot:
For the hosting of fake NetEnt software, the operator uses https://cache1-32f9.kxcdn.com/ domain.
Pirated Dead or Alive slot from NetEnt:
Amatic forgeries are launched from a known pirated domain we have already seen before, and described in a number of our past warning reports - https://24techpro.com/. As an example, take a look at the Casinova slot still featuring this domain:
As for the bogus versions of BetSoft and Novomatic software, they are hosted on http://www.1vivo.com/ and https://24techpro.com/ domains respectively, which you can see in the following two slots:
Fake It Came from Venus slot from BetSoft:
Shady source in Novomatic's Lord of the Ocean:
Not all predatory sites look cheap and obvious from the get go. 24 Pokies certainly doesn't, and it's understandable some players might have been deceived by their sweet words and over 600 games. If you're from Australia and feel like your options are running out, be sure there are still good gaming sites around, and remember that LCB keeps track of them all for you.

Not long ago i came across PokiesWay who i believe are the exact same operators as 24 Pokies. Both sites have dogdy links for documents verifications and when queried, support staff gave me random emails and gave no explanation why error had occurred while trying to upload.

Yeah, these kind of rogue casinos are targeting the Australian players after the regulations banned the certain software from real money play. I suppose that there will be more fake casinos coming. I am worried that many players would get into troubles with them. They all should come to LCB, before it is too late... Great...
