Evolution Gaming's Monopoly Live Named Game of the Year at EGR Operator Awards

The EGR Operator Awards 2019 are already underway and we already know who the winner is in the most prestigious category that is Game of the Year.

It is Pragmatic Play with their Monopoly Live that took home the laurels! Their special edition of this popular board game, made for live dealer enthusiasts, has been deemed the best in this year by the jury of their peers.

Winning Against Big Competition

Competing for this esteemed accolade were 13 other companies…

…but Evolution prevailed, winning the award presented to operator that has “produced the stand-alone game that has made the biggest impact over the last twelve months.” They have received the award during the ceremony that was held at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

The winning title was created via SG’s sublicense. SG has a license agreement with Monopoly creators, Hasbro, Inc. Monopoly Live is a specific product in the world of live casino games – it combines augmented reality with one of the world’s most popular casino games.

It features the 3D bonus game centered around Mr Monopoly that has added multipliers.

Gratitude and Obligations

Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter, has said after the awards ceremony:

Voting process was officiated by Deloitte and the winner in this category was voted by the operators who were shortlisted for the award.

A Deal With Paddy Power and Betfair

Evolution has entered into a landmark agreement with Betfair and Paddy Power…

…which was signed and confirmed in mid-October. The developer will supply their new partners with top-performing titles such as Lightning Roulette and Deal or No Deal.

CFO, Sebastian Johannisson, said of the deal that it is a “significant deal that we have been working towards for a number of years. We are thrilled at the prospect of Flutter Entertainment’s powerhouse brands Paddy Power and Betfair presenting our world-leading Live Casino offering and we are sure that their players will relish our live game shows offering.”
