Leading provider of live casino solutions Evolution Gaming has signed an agreement that will see it tender its services to New Jersey players via PokerStars Casino NJ, an official announcement reads.
The offer is to be administered through a partnership between The Stars Group Inc. and the Resorts Digital Gaming LLC entity of Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
The deal follows Evolution’s triumph at the EGR Operator Awards, where its Lightning Roulette beat the competition and won the highest accolade on October 25th - Game of the Year.
Expanding The Partnership
The Stars Group is an old customer of Evolution’s, with the latter having operated a dedicated live casino environment for PS via its chief European studios in Riga, Latvia for three years. The parties will now expand the collaboration, with the group getting to use Evo’s recently founded studio in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for its newest project launch.
Director of business development and land-based sales at the company, James Stern, has said on the deal:
“We have worked with The Stars Group since 2015, during which time we have worked together in a number of regulated markets in Europe. The immediate popularity of our Live Casino tables at our Atlantic City studio has exceeded even our high expectations. I am confident that PokerStars Casino New Jersey’s customers will be drawn to live casino, and enjoy the thrill of playing at our wide range of live roulette, blackjack, and baccarat tables.”
This is not the first NJ project for the Stars, which already operates other online gaming brands, including PokerStars and BetStars.
Shared Business Principles
Evolution Gaming Group AB develops, produces, markets, and licenses fully integrated B2B live casino solutions to iGaming operators. Since its founding in 2006, the company has grown to become a leading provider in Europe, numbering 150 operators among its customers. The recent deal will see it expand its operations further into the U.S.
Likewise, The Stars Group is the owner of a number of widely recognizable brands, including the aforementioned brands, Full Tilt, and other live joints. Through its possession of Sky Betting & Gaming, the group also maintains Sky Casino, Sky Bingo, Sky Vegas, Sky Bet, and Sky Poker.
In their own words, it is “our scalable technology platform, passionate personnel, regulatory experience and reputation, and global exposure that allows the business to focus on developing and acquiring interactive technology-based assets with high-growth potential in existing and new markets and industries.”
The group boasts millions of registered players from around the world, which makes it one of the largest publicly listed iGaming companies. The Stars is licensed in 19 jurisdictions, including Europe, North America, and Australia.
Merely the number of the satisfied customers speaks volumes about the gaming experience to be expected from the operator. To this day, the company remains one of the favorite iGaming destinations for myriads of punters scattered across the globe.
