Rogue report detailing pirated software discovered at Dobrobet Casino, a recent arrival on the iGaming scene in Eastern Europe, published yesterday, hasn't even settled yet and we already have an update for you! The kind we think you'll be glad to hear. Earlier today we were contacted by the brand and notified they have actually removed all pirated games from the website, and are now offering only licensed products. Needless to say, this is great news, but does it mean they are off the hook?
Let's be fair - you have to give it to them for acting so quickly. This was probably the fastest we've seen a rogue outlet make amends, and they didn't even complain or try to justify their wrongdoing. That doesn't mean we should simply erase the past and forget all about the fake slots that would still be there if he hadn't kicked up a fuss about it! As our Co-CEO Zuga likes to say: we don't know what's worse, offering pirated games on purpose, or out of ignorance. And really, there is simply no excuse for taking people and their hard-earned income so lightly. Gambling, and especially its online variant, is a serious hobby that takes time, effort and most of all - money. Why betray the trust of your customers and put your business at risk by acting so recklessly?
Nevertheless, if they get listed on our site, there will be no warning attached to their name, meaning the operator will not be placed on the Rogue list. We do not recommend them to players, however, and wish for you to be aware of Dobrobet's past deeds when considering this casino as your gaming hub. For this reason, a popup box will appear when clicking on the Play button in the review, redirecting to other reputable venues we recommend instead.
As a reminder, LCB caught Dobrobet, registered in Bulgaria and licensed through Curacao, offering counterfeits of popular NetEnt and Playtech video slots. You can read all about the incident in our Warning report, but to summarize - we exposed this fact to the general public, along with several other issues such as deficient terms and conditions, and a somewhat questionable registration policy.
Let's hope the brand will live up to their name ('dobro' means good) in the future. They have a long way to go before we can say they are safe to register with and play for real cash.

which gives me an idea that we should do an editorial or a video explaining how to recognize piracy etc... Stay tuned! :)

.@Suzette Palato Yes definitely players can detect if the games are fake or not. At times its quite easy to notice such games as theres plenty of dead giveaways like wrong Jackpots shown ( pirated games cannot show a true jackpot value as they are not getting the original feeds from software providers). .@Suzette Palato Yes definitely players can detect if the games are fake or not. At times its quite easy to notice such games as theres plenty of dead giveaways like wrong Jackpots shown ( pirated games cannot show a true jackpot value as they are not getting the original feeds from software providers). What we do is we inspect the source code of the games and if such source is not genuine , meaning the games are not hosted by the software providers, then that is another damning evidence of piracy. Pirated games also dont have exactly the same graphics ,even though we found some fake games that looks excactly the same as originals * its where checking the source code comes in handy. Another sign is if the casino is offering discontinued games ( like Marvel slots from Playtech ) or offering games to players that are actually restricted from playing them. We actually created a resource page where we list original source codes, but I think we would need to update it to add more sources: https://jswqzs.com/authorized-casino-games-suppliers But best thing u can do when unsure , is to check LCB and post question if any doubt.

Ah, it's a shame that they didn't try to justify what they did, I would have loved to hear it... Anyway, it's very good that they made amends so quickly but earning trust requires a lot more at this point.

Just suck it up and deal with the deserved criticism! Own up the mistakes, admit what you did was wrong, and offer at least a decent explanation to players. We all hate BSing so DobroBet you gotta make things right. Removing these games is indeed the right thing to do but you cant cry foul when you are the one who committed an offence.

yes thats a fair question zenekk87. tbh i dont think they will pull this stunt again but we will keep an eye on them in future, thats for sure . But we are extremely glad that casino took this quite seriously and have to commend them for acting quick in removing those games. However we received some legal threats from the casino management which was quite a shocker given they were quite cooperative and fast to remove the pirated games. As always our main goal is the truth and player protection and as you know not the first time we got threats by various outfits. But we are not easily bullied so stay tuned. p.s. We did offer their management to post their rebuttal/comments/disclaimer or we can do it for them.

I guess it's good they took down the illegal software. Kudos to LCB for their role in the process. As usual US players are not allowed here so I could never play here but even if I could I doubt I would. No crypto and that is the only way I choose to gamble online anymore.
