Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC) continues to enlarge its network of consumers, this time announcing a strategic deal with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG). As far as agree, the Corporation will launch in New Jersey and showcase multiple fan-favorite games at GoldenNuggetCasino.com.
Neill Whyte, Chief Commercial Officer of DGC’s B2B iGaming Division referred to the new business associate as a “perfect multi-state partner to DGC.” Thanks to a strategic agreement with the leading operator in the regulated US market, the company will get a unique opportunity to present its unparalleled products to consumers from one of the fastest expanding iGaming territories.
Following the milestone agreement between the two corporations, punters will get the chance to immerse themselves in numerous feature-filled stories. Some of the releases to be launched include 9 Masks of Fire™ and HyperStrike™, which are proven player favorites in New Jersey, as well as the Assassin Moon™, HyperGold™, and Adventures of Doubloon Island™.
Warren Steven, VP of Product and Operations at GoldenNuggetCasino.co commented on the cooperation with DGC as follows:
“We are excited to partner with DGC to bring its impressive content portfolio of diverse and premium games to our players. DGC is setting the standard when it comes to online casino content in the US market and we are pleased to be able to launch games that will give our players more variety and maintain our quality as we continue to expand our gaming portfolio for our loyal players.”
Worth adding is that…
…the company already operates in the NJ market, thanks to the partnership with BetMGM – MGM Resorts’ and GVC Holdings’ joint venture. On top of that, the deal with GNOG builds on DGC’s impressive presence not only in the Garden State but in the wider US market. As a small reminder, the Corporation is also live in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
NJ belongs to the US States which are open to all forms of gambling. On February 26, 2013, a revised bill permitting Internet gambling was approved by the New Jersey Legislature, and then signed into law by Chris Christie. A couple of months later, in November, the market started operating.
The law legalizes online casino gambling…
…for a ten-year trial period, restricts the operation of the websites to Atlantic City's eleven casinos. Instead of 8%, which is the current revenue for casinos, the activity is taxed at 15%.
Regarding the legal age, the act requires that the gambler is at least 21 if he/she wants to play sports betting, casino gaming, and slot machines, that is 18, for lotteries, pari-mutuel betting, charity bingo, and pull-tabs. Also, a punter must use a computer in the Garden State, not access via VPN or anything similar.
So far, a large number of renowned content producers entered the rapidly growing market to deliver their immersive products to local consumers. Some of the brands which are already live in the market include the likes of Wazdan, Playtech, EveryMatrix, iForium, and more.
