Back Cyprus Officially Launches Third Satellite Casino

Melco Resorts & Entertainment has launched its third satellite casino on the Mediterranean coast. The company has unleashed the project via the Cyprus Casinos (C2) brand. The opening was followed by a splendid ceremony and we expect many players to flock to the newly established complex. Visitors can now choose between three satellite casinos located in Larnaca, Nicosia or Ayia Napa.

About the New Complex

The new satellite casino complex is situated in Ayia Napa. It opens just after the celebration of the first anniversary of a temporary casino in Limassol. Both venues are operated by C2 company which holds an exclusive license to run casinos in Cyprus.

The Ayia Napa satellite project includes 3950 square feet of space and sits on about 148,854 square feet space. The casino features about 50 slot machines, and a bar opened between 3 pm and 6 am. The complex provides job positions to over 40 local citizens.

City of Dreams Mediterranean president (CODM), Craig Ballantyne said:

“We are confident that C2 Ayia Napa will help to enhance the city’s tourism product and significantly contribute to the sustainable growth of the local and island’s economy. At the same time, the casino will offer an exceptional entertainment experience for both local and foreign guests.”

Cyprus Venues

City of Dreams Mediterranean is a huge complex on the island C2. The construction started last April and the entire complex is scheduled to be finished in 2021. According to estimations, the casino complex will have more than a million visits by this August.

Meanwhile, another satellite casino project is on halfway to completion. CODM has received permission to launch four satellite venues and the brand-new complex is planned for Paphos.

The Melco provider has just been awarded with 8th Invest Cyprus International Investment Prize. The company is praised for contributing to the local economy. At that time, Melco CEO Lawrance Ho said:

“Cyprus has tremendous economic potential and is now firmly on the radar of international investors.”
