Leading Global Provider of Digital Solutions Secures a License from the Bay State

Continent 8 Technologies is launching its world-class data center and hosting services to online gaming companies in another state.

The hosting, connectivity and security partner to the world’s biggest iGaming brands has been approved a sports wagering license by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.

Continent 8 Entering 27th State

The Massachusetts gaming market has been growing rapidly in recent months.

After the official inauguration of its regulated sports betting market on 31 January 2023, the Bay State has issued dozens of Category 1 licenses to retail sportsbooks.

The early numbers from March indicate an increase in mobile wagering too, indicating a successful launch of retail sports betting.

A month earlier, when the market was still developing with three retail sportsbooks, the handle surpassed $25.7 million. The experts are now projecting a steady growth set to rise significantly in the upcoming months.

By entering a new state, Continent 8 will strengthen its footprint in the country and partner with more operators and suppliers. The company will launch its full suite of solutions, including hosting, connectivity, and security.

The agreement with potential partners will also include hybrid cloud deployments through AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Continent 8 has also ensured an extensive data center site to offer the best infrastructure solutions in the state prior to securing approval.

The company’s efforts in Massachusetts are a true milestone after entering Pennsylvania and 26 other US states, such as New Jersey, Michigan, and Ohio.

We are thrilled to have been approved as a Sports Wager Registrant by the Massachusetts regulator. The early signs are that this will be a significant market for both operators and suppliers,” commented David Brace, innovation director at Continent 8.

Thanks to the company’s 25 years of existence and experience, Continent 8 has also become the go-to digital infrastructure provider for many online businesses worldwide.

Provider of Choice

The approval from Massachusets Gaming Commission comes after Continent 8’s launch Ohio.

As one of the leading record solutions and service providers in the US sports betting and iGaming market, it has surpassed more than 80% of operators on the EGR US Power Rankings 2022.

In the upcoming months, Continent 8 will increase its commitment to expansion and make sure that its customers can take advantage of the pre-registration with new brands in the pipeline.
