Forward-looking provider of mobile-first slot content, Betixon, has recently submitted a B2B Manufacture’s Suitability License to the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) while looking to enter the Greek market for the first time.
The HGC announced a deadline of 7 May 2021 for all brands and suppliers in the local market to submit a license application or leave the region. The recent application is part of Betixon’s strategy of entering new markets around the world.
The innovative developer has also taken additional steps to ensure compliance with HGC strict requirements, including getting ISO27001 certification and securing a European license – Betixon currently has licenses from the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and ONJN Authority in Romania.
The HGC should issue licenses to operators in the next few months and suppliers will get their licenses shortly after. At the moment, Betixon is confident about meeting HGC conditions expecting to get a license and offer its titles to players in Greece for the first time.
Betixon is already known for creating some of the best games, with engaging features and the mobile-first approach. Its Fortune Breakers series is particularly popular among players, with each slot including incredible visuals and animations along with compelling gameplay and features. Its games are available to brands in several markets including the UK, Lithuania, Estonia, Italy, Colombia, Portugal, and Romania, with additional to follow soon. Its API is hassle-free, enabling quick and simple integration completed within a few days. Its games are available in HTML5 mode, making the experience even more convenient.
Commenting on the latest milestone, Co-founder at CTO of Betixon, Lior Cohen, said:
“Our strategy is based around entering regulated markets across Europe and beyond, delivering our modern, innovative, and hugely entertaining content to as many operator partners as we can.
“We see Greece as being an exciting market with plenty of growth potential now that a proper regulatory and licensing regime is in place. As per our strategy, we want to be among the first to enter markets as and when they regulate and that is why we have made sure to meet the 7 May deadline.”
According to Cohen's words, the company believes that they are compliant with the rules and conditions of the Hellenic Gaming Commission and they are looking forward to receiving a license, which will enable them to serve current partners while joining forces with other operators.
