Back After Securing License, Evolution Gaming Is Ready To Enter South African Market

Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) has issued a National Manufacturer license to Evolution Gaming, the leading provider of Live Casino solutions. Acquiring this license gives the provider approval to deliver its products in South Africa.

The developer will enter this gambling market through its recently acquired subsidiary, Ezugi, and its products will be available to all licensed gaming operators in South Africa.

Martin Carlesund, Group CEO at Evolution Gaming expressed his enthusiasm about these events:

We are delighted to have received this license and look forward to opening up our world-leading live dealer games portfolio to operators and players in South Africa. Thanks in large part to the great experience already gained in this market by our Ezugi subsidiary, we are entering a really exciting new vertical in this region. Our world-leading live dealer solutions, and new live event betting solutions too, will be available not only on desktop, tablet and smartphone but also in retail betting shops.”

Ezugi A Valuable Asset for Expansion

Ezugi focuses on live dealer casino gaming, so collaboration with a top provider in this area, such as Evolution, is very beneficial to both sides.

This company has many partners in the industry including Every Matrix, Leander Games, Play’n GO, Soft Swiss and many more, so the addition of its portfolio is valuable.

Kfir Kugler, CEO and founder of Ezugi, commented about the collaboration:

There is long-term potential in the regulated South African market to deliver Evolution-powered live dealer games and fixed odds solutions to operators and to bring players the most entertaining live games and live Game Show games available in the world, alongside exciting new betting products.”

The company also serves land-based operators, and helps them to be more accessible to the online and mobile gambling markets through its unique tools and expertise.
Ezugi’s platform makes integration with other platforms simple and offers all that operators require to start a White Label such as:

  • Payment integration
  • Back office
  • Marketing
  • Reporting
  • Affiliate system and much more

A Busy Start of the New Year

Evolution made its mission to “make operators successful and provide an excellent user experience for their end-users by offering a flawless and localised Live Casino into regulated markets, on all digital platforms for online and land-based operators and their customers.” The brand is staying true to its goal by developing new engaging products and expanding its reach to the new markets.

Just days before getting its license by the Western Cape regulator, it announced that it has struck a deal with Groupe Partouche to deliver online Live Casino services to the regulated Swiss market.

A few weeks before this event, the provider signed an agreement to power Parx Casino’s launch of online Live Dealer Casino services in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The end of January 2020 was marked by the release of its exclusive, all-new game, Lightning Baccarat.

The developer entered February with a smashing success and a reward as Online Casino Supplier of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards London, for the second consecutive year. The brand beat nine other shortlisted companies for this prestigious international award, which recognizes the strongest, most innovative online casino suppliers over the last 12 months.

It was a great start of the new year for the provider, who is announcing that new great things are yet to come. The supplier already has a worldwide presence, but its entry to South African via Ezugi only demonstrate its tendencies to leave its footprint on all available markets, to the joy of the online live casino players everywhere.
