The Betclic Everest online gambling group has had difficulties with the Belgian Gaming Commission since 2012 but has now agreed to comply with local regulations and pay Euro 80,000 in fines.
As a result of the decision to comply, Betclic has been removed from the Belgian blacklist, which it has remained a part of since 2012.
The Commission subsequently confiscated Euro 600,000 from Betclic that was budgeted for the Belgian market. Belgian Betclic players were also fined Euro 200 for illegally patronizing the operator.
To comply with Belgian laws that require online operators to obtain a local partner, Betclic is in discussions with Circus Group, which could lead to a licensed website in the country by the end of 2015.

To pay a small amounts for players, who were affected by this misinformation. In my opinion, this is nice story and prevention for those, who already had a bad stories with blacklist casinos. Just be aware and always understand who's in the good or bad position. Peace to all!

I have seen blacklisted casinos in the past where players continued to patronize the offenders establishment. Most of the time, I said most, the backlist doesn't keep away the players. But, I see that players here were fined. That would be an effective way to keep players away and force the operator to comply. Well it looks like it has worked it this instance. It also seems to be working out for the best for all concerned. It will probably be a good deterrent for all future violators.
