Mansion Holdings Ltd., whose brands include casino.com, club777.com, LesACasino.com, MansionCasino.com and SlotsHeaven.com, has obtained a remote gambling license from the UK Gambling Commission.
“We’re delighted to be officially licensed by the UKGC, which is an important milestone in our strategy of acquiring gaming licenses in key markets for the company,” said Sagi Lahav, chief executive officer for Mansion Group.
The license will allow the company to continue offering online gambling services and increase its presence in the UK. Mansion will be launching Casino.com in Italy next.
“Despite the additional challenges that regulation poses, Mansion welcomes the additional security and transparency that this gives our players, further reinforcing Mansion’s firm views and policies around player protection and responsible gaming. As such, this is extremely positive for both the Mansion Group and the wider industry,” said Lahav.

Good for them. Good for the UK and especially its players. Many online gambling sites went off shore to avoid UK taxes, so they thought and some of them just down right left the UK market behind because of the taxes. Even with this fairly new, 15% tax on offshore gambling sites, it looks like Mansion Holdings Ltd is not easily intimidated. Lately, I have read several articles where offshore site are obtaining gambling license from the UK Gambling Commission. I thought for a while how bad this 15% tax was going to effect UK players, but as it has turns out, well, it's not that bad.
