The European Commission’s approval of Portugal's online gambling proposal last year, may result in the implementation of new licensing and regulation by mid-2015.
The industry is already preparing for Portuguese regulation as 888Poker has a promotion set to launch in February, which includes Portugal in the list of allowed countries.
The market will be an expensive on for operators to enter as the government plans to bring in tax revenues as high as 30 percent of GGR.

Again sad news, 30% of GGR it is really high taxes i think. And like always players will be affected, because those money casino can spent on doing great promotions and rewards, but now 30% of GGR should be sent to government. But i believe casinos have nothing to do with it, and they should play with this rules.
