The news broke on Monday that Cambodian police had apprehended a total of nine South Korean and four Cambodian individuals on Saturday evening based on illegal online gambling activity at a local club after monitoring the goings on over the course of a month.
Provincial police chief major general Sorth Dina said, “The suspects were preliminarily accused by police of illegal online gambling, illegal gun use and working as accomplices.”
Those arrested, including the club manager and security guard, will face provincial courts to be charged.
