Florida internet cafe gambling fraud case, involving the so-called "Allied Veterans of the World" charity which earlier this year saw federal enforcement officials arrest 57 persons on felony charges, hits the news again.
The reason for this is the denial of the return of the money ($8 million) that Chase Burns and his wife Kristin sought and which Oklahoma authorities had seized as part of the enforcement activities. At the time Burns was the owner of Oklahoma-based International Internet Technologies.
So far the case has seen the resignation of one senior Florida politician due to the involvement in the scandal, but as investigation continues it is probable that more will be found out of it.
