Thanks to a deal the Maltese-based software provider World Match Ltd closed with Chess Plus International Ltd-owned and Africa-facing Surebet257, it will be able to place its content into the Nigerian market.
According to Sheriff Olaniyan, chief executive officer of Chess Plus, Surebet247, traditionally a retail betting firm, is the only company with an online casino platform in the Nigerian market right now. He also expressed belief that sports betting will drive interest in online casino as the blooming market comes online.
“The Nigerian market has been very attractive to us for quite a long time. Being one of the most populous and fastest-developing economy in Africa and occupying a strategic position in the West African sub-region, Nigeria indeed provides an opportunity to realize yet another shared vision of a positive linkage of our technology and services with sound local capacity, knowledge and expertise”, it was added by president of World Match, Alessandro Fried.
