Despite previous reports that Costa Rica police have recovered the body of the 43-year old sportsbook owner William Sean Creighton, aka 5Dimes Tony, the official statement from 5Dimes Casino refutes these claims.
The spokesperson for the casino states, that the reports of Creighton found dead are incorrect and that everyone at the company “stays positive that he will return to them soon”.
The Show Must Go On
5Dimes Casino's official statement reads as follows:
"Despite recent news, 5Dimes Group board of directors and its over 300 employees would like to reassure its clientele the fundamentals of 5Dimes Group operating model remain unchanged.
We continue striving to deliver the best gambling experience to our customers, always aiming to innovate in the industry with more and better betting options to choose from.
Our thoughts and prayers join the rest of the online gambling industry for Tony’s safe return to his family."
To recap the story, Creighton has been missing since September 24th, while his wife reported the disappearance on the 25th. Despite the initial theories that 5Dimes Tony was kidnapped for ransom money, there were no requests of ransom payments...
...although one of the local media outlets claim that his wife did get a call from his kidnappers requesting $750,000 in ransom money to be paid in Bitcoin and then transferred to a Cuban bank account, while another source claims the ransom request surpassed $1 million in Bitcoin equivalent.
Mysterious Circumstances
Reports by witnesses, if they're anything to go by, are saying that Creighton's Porsche Cayenne was bumped off the road and into the private property's gate after which he was taken to an undisclosed location by two people who intercepted him on a motorcycle.
With the assistance of two former FBI agents, hired by Creighton's family, the supposed body of the sportsbook owner has been recovered – however, in another turn of events it seems that the body found was not the one of William Sean Creighton.
We will stay tuned for further development of this story and will bring new details to you as we have them.

true, there seemed to be a lot of conflicting reports whether his body was found or not. And now casino officials are confirming his still missing but I fear the worst.
