Online Casino Gran Madrid sees light of day
This week came an announcement that the famous Spanish land-based Casino Gran Madrid has launched its local, Playtech-powered online gambling website, which it claims is among the first to receive the Spanish license to operate.
The new online venue’s offering involves a wide range of games, such as French Roulette, blackjack and slot machines, and it is claimed to provide strictly regulated, fair and safe online gambling action.
However, poker fans will have to wait for the site to obtain a separate licence, which is expected to happen before the end of 2011.
In addition, the company specified that, in order to earn its license, it had to pass “an extensive evaluation process by independent auditors,” who examined all technical and software aspects, responsible gambling and operational procedures.
At the moment, the site employs 10 directly, but it also counts on the human, technical, infrastructural and logistics services of its land counterpart.
