Italian market expansion in anticipation of regulations
A new deal emerged in the Italian market these days, when online gaming giant Playtech closed a deal with Buongiorno which it will provide with mobile casino games in fun mode, thus continuing its expansion into the Italian market in anticipation of regulations which will permit real-money play.
The deal covers Playtech's Blackjack, Roulette and Jacks or Better, which will be made available for iPhone and Android users via Buongiorno's Winga brand.
According to Playtech's Head of Mobile, Daniel Orkan, “This is a significant step for Playtech in the Italian market and in our ongoing partnership with Buongiorno, which will see the delivery of more innovative products as the year progresses. We are excited to offer mobile casino games to Italian players, which will be joined by the launch of online casino later in the year, in line with our strong cross-platform capabilities.”
