Cornish newsagent takes home GBP345 253
A very lucky winner appeared this week at William Hill Online, hitting a jackpot of GBP 345 253 on Playtech-powered progressive slot Leprechaun's Luck.
The 44 year old Peter Brown, a newsagent in Torquay, Cornwall, played a GBP1 spin on the popular game and became one of the biggest winners of all times at William Hill Online.
He commented: "I’m still in shock, I just can’t believe it. When it came up on the screen that I’d won – I thought I was dreaming – and it wasn’t until someone from William Hill rang to congratulate me that it started to sink in.
"My father in-law is Irish and when I told him I’d won GBP 345 000 on a game called Leprechaun’s Luck - he thought I was pulling his leg. We’ll be raising a pint of Guinness to William Hill over next few days!
"I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the money, but I fancy buying a new Jeep and maybe a brand new 3D TV."
