Jacks or Better now available for smartphone platforms
This week’s news reported of a recent venture into smartphone sector by a gaming developer, International Game Technology (IGT), whose recently launched "Jacks or Better" video poker is now available to all iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and android mobile platform users.
The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, and it includes the "Double-Up Gamble" feature. In order to win, players need to get a pair of Jacks or higher, after which they will be offered the “Double-Up Gamble” feature, if enabled.
According to Vice President of Interactive, IGT, Alex Kelly, “Jacks or Better video poker is an innovative product which will add significant value to an operator’s mobile portfolio. The advances in Smartphone technology have allowed us to demonstrate our company strengths and build on an online title which has been a firm favourite to create a mobile version that is instantly recognisable to players.”
