Framework set for future cooperation

An agreement has been closed between the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) and Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) on co-operation according to which the two bodies will share information, expertise, knowledge and skills including exchange visits and training.

On this occasion, NGCB Chairman Mark Lipparelli, commented: “We are fortunate and appreciative of our relationships with governments around the globe similar to what we have developed with the AGCC. As our licensees continue their global expansion and among new business sectors, we must adapt as an agency. Formalizing these distant relationships is a benefit to all involved from many perspectives including cost, time and quality.”

“Cooperation with other regulatory bodies around the world is fundamental to being a successful regulatory body. Considering the Nevada Board’s long-standing history and experience of regulating gaming, we are very pleased to have formalised our cooperation with the Nevada regulator and are looking forward to working with the NGCB in the areas of investigations, compliance and developing technical standards,” concluded AGCC CEO André Wilsenach,
