Online gambling to be included, says Director of the Ministry of Public Security
It was stated by an official of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) that new judicial rules will be passed in China by the end of 2010, to regulate sentencing standards in the domain of cyber attack crimes. According to Vice Director of the MPS Internet Security Bureau Gu Jian, the new rules will also cover the field of online pornography, online fraud and online gambling.
In addition, Beijing this week hosted the 'U.S. - China Internet Industry Forum,' where the two countries arranged to reinforce international law enforcement in combat against cyber crimes, boost bilateral cooperation mechanisms, and improve communication on fighting cyber crimes.
