An independent software company, 1X2 Network has kicked off New Year in style - the international supplier has launched its slot and table games in Sweden’s re-regulated iGaming market!
The British company used an official Monday press release to detail that iGaming devotees in Sweden can now take pleasure in its full catalog of games…
…including those created by 1X2gaming and Iron Dog Studio subsidiaries, together with assets of virtual sports editions by associate Leap Gaming.
1X2gaming is the founding brand and now a subordinate of the 1X2 Network, since the provider announced its rebranding back in 2017.
Expansion Plans
Company's select titles are already available via notable operators such as Betsson, Bethard, NordicBet and LeoVegas who were among the first in line for obtaining the license in Sweden.
The Chief Commercial Officer at 1X2 Network, Kevin Reid, has stated:
“We have ambitions plans to enter core regulated markets around the world, and Sweden was a top priority for us. We are thrilled to be among the first game developers to provide content to operators in the re-regulated market and look forward to playing a key role as it matures.”
The newly regulated Swedish market is governed by The Swedish Gambling Authority and is effectively live since January 1st.. The Gambling Act provides the implementation of a completely new set of regulatory framework rules that operators will be required to comply with.
Joining the re-regulated market represents a missing piece in 1X2 Network’s worldwide growth mission. The UK based provider is already approved in markets of Italy and Spain as well as:
- United Kingdom,
- Malta
- Gibraltar
- Isle of Man
- Colombia
In accordance with the brand's expansion strategy, more new markets and territories will be entered in this coming year.
Previous Realizations
Joining the Swedish market was one of the main priorities for the UK provider. Several big business moves preceded this scenario.
In late October, they joined forces with QTech Games - one of the fastest growing game distributors in Asia.
The supplier set its hopes on enhancing presence and brand position in various markets: as a result, they enabled the distribution of entire catalog to operators and players across the Asian region.
Jonas Alm, CEO at QTech, was quoted as saying:
“1X2 Network has cracked the code when it comes to designing and developing stunning games that deliver engaging and compelling gameplay, providing a superior player experience”
Under the terms of this partnership, users are already cherishing titles such as Blood Queen, The Curios Cabinet and Rainbow Wilds. Providing gaming aficionados with their portfolio across the globally regulated markets, 1X2 Network is taking necessary steps for delivering on their promise of expansion and diversification.
