Play’nGO invites players of every culture to celebrate the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The holiday’s purpose is to honor the souls of loved ones who have passed on. More specifically, it is thought by firm believers that, at midnight on October 31st, the spirits of children are able to join their families for 24 hours. Additionally, on November 2nd, the adult spirits join the living to take part in the celebration that has been prepared for them.
Grim Muerto delivers all the necessary elements of Day of the Dead festivities. Its layout is adorned with traditional sugar skulls, decorated in assorted colors, while gaming symbols include skeleton mariachis dressed in vibrant threads, red roses, instruments, and a book with a skull on the front of it.
The slot is made up of 5 reels, and 20 paylines, plus a variety of added features. Players can look forward to expanding wilds in the Marco Siniestro feature, during which 1 reel is randomly selected and highlighted for each spin thereafter. As a result, wilds that show up on the highlighted reel will expand, and replace other icons to complete win combinations.
Free spins can also be triggered when three or more of the book symbols appear. During the free spin feature, the mariachi symbol serves as a wild. Free spins may also be re-triggered when three or more candle icons appear.
Altogether, the game boasts four unique features, making it a slot that’s worth checking out.

My spanish isn't too hot, so when I saw this slot title appear at my favourite casinos the past few weeks I initially assumed it would mean "Grim Reaper". Turns out I wasn't too far off, and having played the game now I am pleased to say that its another win for Playngo! These guys have been creating some great games over the past couple of years, as well as some pretty dodgy "original" titles such as the awful-paying Gemix, but Grim Muerto is definitely a winner and I definitely recommend! :)
