Theme

An image of the wishing well, with an embedded wizard, serves as the background picture. The age shows here, as most of the theme centers around simply a few symbols that come with related pictures. The base symbols are the card ranks from ten to ace, with the wizard, amulet, opals, and magic mushrooms paying out slightly better. Music and sound effects are for the most part missing, and what is there is copied from earlier slots.

Betting Options and Functions

The ten paylines are selectable, though only in ascending order. The bet per line goes from 0.01 coins all the way to two coins. The full stake can, therefore, be anything between 0.01 and 20 coins. Winning lines run from left to right, require the usual three symbols minimum, and the payouts are quite decent. In fact, somewhat high. Features

Free spins are the only feature here: As is the rule in the world of slots it befalls to scatters to launch them. Three are needed as a minimum, with four or five awarding no more though giving up some coin wins. With five scatters you can get 2000 coins. Ten spins are handed out, and during them, the special wishing well symbol can expand through the reels to form even bigger combinations.

With each win, you can choose either the red or black color, and if you guess right you get double your wins. If you choose the wrong color you lose the pot. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Our Take

Wishing well is an aged slot, that offers very little on the entertainment front. It still has massive base wins, which can be triggered even via small bets. Truth be told though, so do many other games with better production values. Like most Reel Time Gaming slots the game is missing a lot when it comes to music and sound effects. The slot does work in mobile though, which at least fits the standards of the modern age.
