A worthy theme if there ever has been one, though Bruce Lee himself would probably have advised against gambling. Not that any of us could ever hope to reach the level of this sage, but at least now we can fill our pockets with coins and big prizes through special features in this Red Tiger Gaming slot. The producer specializes in Asian themes, so it’s no surprise martial arts and their lone master would eventually feature on the reels.
Theme
The setup here is rather standard, with five reels in three rows. The background is filled with a training field in some remote Chinese village, with the game screen continuing with the same theme. The audio effects are, no surprise here, the amalgamation of flutes and other Chinese instruments, with a bit of extra thrown in whenever big wins hit the screen. The symbols are, in turn, a combination of playing cards and martial arts related periphery.
Betting Options and Functions
The payline setup is the standard setup of Red Tiger Gaming. The five reels come in three rows, and twenty fixed paylines run through them. All symbol combinations must follow the lines from left to right, with three to five needed for a win. The stake, likewise, is the usual setup running from 0.20 to 500 coins, with the higher end usually limited by casinos to 60 or 100 coins.
The car ranks run from ten to ace, and offer between 4 and 108 times your line bet as wins. The gloves, nunchakus, and Chinese symbols offer between 20 and 500 times your win. The two main symbols, Bruce Lee and the Yin-Yang gong, offer up to 888 times your line bet when five are on a payline.
Features
The wilds appear randomly, replacing all other symbols, and also paying out the highest prize in the game. It’s not too uncommon to see two or three come up at a time. During free spins, the wilds lock in place for the whole session.
Free spins are launched with three bonus spin symbols, which only come in reel one, three and five. The amount is randomly selected.
The main pot can be grabbed with the bonus symbol. This features on the middle reel and every time it lands an animation will play out and a random multiplier selected. At minimum, you will win eight times your total stake, and at maximum 888 times the total stake.
In addition to these, the dragon eyes will randomly flash on the screen, triggering random effects. It will not always result in wins, but when it does you can fill your pockets with plenty of coins.
Our Take
The theme plays out well, and this is quite a fun slot to play. The volatility seems to be medium, with wins triggering quite often. More importantly, the bonus features appear at a constant pace as well. They don’t always result in wins, but at least there is no need to go for more than a dozen or so spin to see something special on the screen.
