Van Pelts Wild Adventure offers a safari with up to 250 000 coins for grabs. Van Pelt, in case you’ve forgotten, is the antagonist from the original Jumanji movie. Theme

The music and sound effects welcome you into a strange little mix of themes. At the core of it is the titular character, leading you through the safari. Apparently, he works as a good guy these days. Occasional animations feature both on the screen and in the background, filling the game with much-needed entertainment. The symbols feature animals, equipment, and characters, all with a bit of comical twitch to them.

Betting Options and Functions

There are thirty paylines, which can be selected in ascending order. In other words, you don’t get to choose which paylines are active but you do get to select how many are in the play. Each payline can have one to five coins bet on it. The coin value is up to the player, ranging from 0.02 to 1, depending on the denomination of course.

Three to five symbols running from left to right on an active payline grants a win. These range from five times your line bet to five hundred times it. It might be worthwhile to increase the coins per line whilst keeping the overall bet low, as this directly increases the amount of coin wins.

When betting on all 30 lines the game comes with collapsing symbols. When a payline contains an entire row of matching symbols they all collapse into a single symbol, giving space for two more symbols.

Features

When the zebra, monkey, and gorilla come in any combination on payline one they trigger two free spins. You get to freely choose which of these symbols acts as a wild during the spins. What’s more, the wild comes with a double multiplier for all wins.

During any normal spin, you might land some random wilds. These come with huge multipliers, that grant up to ten times the normal wins. Surely enough to land a nice bonus incentive for any normal spin.

A special bonus round is awarded when three Van Pelt bonus symbols are on the screen. This gives you the chance to pick some extra wins by scouting areas of the safari in a point-and-click style.

On top of these, there is the gamble function, which allows the player to double any base win, though with the usual 50 - 50 chance of losing it.

Our Take

Though not exactly running on a wave of hype and fame anymore, as most people probably have forgotten who Van Pelt is, the game still manages to entertain. It offers a nice set of bonus features and plenty of chances to poach the lines for big wins. Give it a go and see for yourself!
