Victory Ridge is a 20 line video slot which is themed around war. It features five reels which each include three icons at any one time. Victory Ridge Theme

The reels are set in front of a grizzly battlefield strewn with sandbags, barbed wire, tanks and mortar craters. The designers have done a pretty good job visually because everything is bespoke, even the buttons have been given a dog tag look.

The reel icons are also themed around battle with a world war two edge. These include stick grenades, parachutes, metal helmets, medals, bombers, warships and tanks. The A, K, Q, J and 10 icons have been styled to look like camouflage dog tags too.

The design elements are authentic and do impress visually, although we'd have preferred a few more animated designs and sound effects to really give the slot an edge.

Players aren't restricted in the wagering department as bets can be placed from 0.01 to $50. Although this may not appeal to super high rollers we think everyone else should be able to find a bet which meets their needs within this range.

Victory Ridge Slot Features

The Warship is marked scatter which means it pays out when three or more appear in any section. Three, four or five icons will award 2x, 15x or 200x respectively whilst two icons will return your stake.

The Tank icon is wild which allows it to create wins by substituting for any other icon. The only exception here is the warship and bomber icons which it cannot substitute for.

The bonus round is awarded when three bombers appear, again in any position. You first choose a bonus icon to determine the number of free spins then choose again to reveal the multiplier which will be applied to any resulting win.

Our Take on Victory Ridge

I mentioned in the intro that this looked like a straightforward slot and we stand by that point. Personally I feel it could have been a little more exciting, perhaps a few bangs and animations would have provided the finishing touch. The war theme will undoubtedly appeal to some, whilst others won't find it interesting at all. At the end of the day it'll come down to personal taste whether a player loves Victory Ridge or not.
