Ever since History channels launched their Vikings tv-series the subject has been of interest to slot producers. NetEnt came up with their licensed slot Vikings, and it’s quite clear that ReelNRG’s Victorious Vikings draw their inspiration from the same source.

Theme

Vicious Vikings plundering the riches from foreign countries while looking handsome doing so is what the theme seems to be all about. Besides the characters, the reels are filled with runestones. The screen is flanked by battle flags, and the background is filled by a foggy battlefield full of fallen enemies. Battle cries and pompous music fills the air as you spin the reels. The theme is quite immersive, especially when you add in all the animations.

Betting Options and Functions

Twenty pay-lines, five reels with three symbols each, and betting possibilities from 0.01 coins per line onwards mean that the setup for this slot is quite normal. The maximum bet is up to the casino, though most players are probably happy with a maximum of few coins per spin.

Thor’s Hammer is used to launch the bonus games. The symbol only shows up on reels two, three, and four, and needs to be present in all of them for the player to be awarded the twelve bonus games. During this feature, the four-character symbols can show up as colossal symbols, filling up between four and nine symbol positions. Our Take

Like I mentioned at the start of this article, I find this slot better than the NetEnt licensed version. The only disadvantage is the RTP that is slightly below average. Otherwise…
