Mulan arose to popular knowledge, in the west, with the Disney film of the same name. Can’t really say Gamingsoft is plagiarising anything here, given that the company itself stems from Asia and apparently has managed to spell out the name properly. This is to say that you might not be that unfamiliar with the theme as you would think. The slot comes with fifty paylines and offers the usual gaming features that you run into with this developer’s titles.

Theme

The theme here is war, specifically that which Mulan fought in. On the screen, you’ll see plenty of symbolia and regalia regarding this, with forts, banners and men ready for war fill the background. The music and other sounds follow the more traditional route of banjo-like weeping sounds. Not exactly something spectacular, but at least it adds a bit to the overall atmosphere. There are a few animations here to celebrate winning prizes, but otherwise, the screen remains quite static.

Betting Options and Functions

Five reels extend through four rows with fifty paylines running through them from left to right. As usual, you need to land between three and five symbols on an active payline to claim a win. Betting is done via total bet button, which starts from pennies and ends with hundreds of coins per spin.

The low-value symbols offer rather negligible wins, which most of the time aren’t even enough to return the bet back to you. Our Take
