The classic movie “Jurassic Park” has loomed large in the popular imagination since its release in 1993. The excellent design team at the Italian developer Capecod Gaming takes these themes to the next level in T-Rex Adventure, a five-reel slot with fifteen adjustable two-way-pay paylines, two separate bonus features, and an overall gritty, dangerous feel certain to keep players coming back for more.

Theme

Players seem to be seeing the world through a dinosaur’s vantage point in this slot: the reels are set against a chain link fence, with open country and green forest visible beyond the barrier. Gaming symbols include the mighty T-Rex, two dinosaurs in cages, a grey triceratops, and a mosquito preserved in amber (presumable with dinosaur DNA inside), as well as the playing card values ace through ten. The design team at Capecod Gaming seems to have done a better job designing this game’s system than those know-it-all scientists who designed Jurassic Park. There are 15 adjustable paylines, each paying in both directions, with bet per line variable from 0.01–1.00. This yields an overall per-spin bet range of 0.01–15.00 times the betting currency. Autospins are available for up to 1,000 spins at a time, though players should use caution before stepping away from the game, as there are no protections in place for loss limits. Features

Rex Bonus Game is the first of two bonus features on offer in T-Rex Adventure. Our Take

Capecod Gaming seems to be settling into a pattern of game production with consistent nearly top marks across the board. While it’s a been a long time since one of their slots really blew away the competition, T-Rex Adventure is yet another solid slot to be released by this company. In the future, slightly higher RTP and more original base play would be nice to see, but as it is, this slot will find many fans.
