Super Fun 21 Blackjack is a variant of the standard Blackjack game that is offered at many online casinos. Like the name suggests, it is a fun game to play because it is fast paced and the rules of the game are more relaxed than that of the regular Blackjack game. This form of the game is slowly gaining popularity around the world, and many professionals are switching to Super Fun 21 Blackjack. Since the rules are so simple, it is a great game for even beginners to play.
The objective of the game is the same as that of Blackjack, where the player aims to make a higher total than the dealer, while keeping the total below 21. The card values are also the same, with numbered cards being valued at face value and the face cards being valued at 10 points. In this game also, the Ace card is valued at either 1 or 11 depending on the player’s need. In this game however, the player instantly wins any hand where he/she has six or more cards, regardless of the player’s total. Any hand with five or more cards with a total of 21 automatically has a 2:1 payout, players can split their hand up to 4 times and the player’s Blackjack always wins.

This is a very funky blackjack variant that I have not seen in the casinos here in the UK but did see on a cruise ship several years ago (complete with shockingly bad rules). The five card trick rule from pontoon is used here and pays 2:1, and theres a whole host of other play favourable rules, such as player BJ beats dealer BJ, you can resplit aces and draw and double down to those splits. Late surrender is available as is double down rescue. Kinda sounds too good to be true right? The big catch: blackjacks only pay even money. This makes far more difference than many players realise, and thats blindingly obvious from the huge number of player-favourable rules (I haven't listed them all above), and amazingly, even after all that the house edge is still several times that of regular blackjack! So, this is a fun game of blackjack for sure (if you want to call it that), and theres no reason why you can't have a very successful session playing it if you manage to catch a bunch of hands that benefit from the favourable rules. But what I took away most from learning the rules of this game was never to play at any live table that wasn't paying the full 3:2 for a blackjack!
