South Park is still dominating the small screen and now is making waves on computer screens too with thanks to this brand new video slot. It includes 20 lines containing all your favourite South Park characters; who are locked in battle against Professor Chaos (Butters in costume), General Disarray and the like. It’s as whacky as the television show, so I just had to play and review it.
South Park Reel Chaos Theme
The reels are laid out in a typical fashion with 3 icons appearing on each of the 5 reels. This is an official South Park Digital studios production too, so you can be sure that the characters and graphics on the reels are drawn by the same animators that create the show.
With the above in mind fans of the show will be thrilled to see Kenny, Cartman, Stan and Kyle on the reels. They do look a little different than normal as they are wearing their superhero get ups’. Other icons include 10, A, K, Q and J but it’s the sound effects and animated sequences that are the most enjoyable.

South Park Reel Chaos Features
There are three different wild symbols that can appear on any reel. They are active during main spins and Stan’s multiplying re-spins. Their purpose is to substitute for any regular symbol to aid the creation of more potential; there are bonuses revolving around these too.
Cartman’s stacked wilds can trigger on any spin at random. Carmen has a mission to catch General Disarray and on his way he will climb or slide down reels. As he does this the icons behind him turn into stacked wilds.
Kenny’s Multiplier is also triggered at random. During this feature Kenny does battle with Professor Chaos to award a multiplier of up to 5x your bet line value.
Stan also has his own bonus feature; which I think is the best one. When this triggers (again at random) all 5 reels will re-spin, on some occasions multiple times, until a line win is gained. Every successive re-spin will also increase the multiplier from 2x up to 10x.
Kyle’s randomly triggered feature brings overlay wilds. His job is to clear the reels of minions (hamsters) whilst overlaying wilds over icons in the process.
Bonus symbols must appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 to trigger the Mintberry Crunch Epic Bonus Feature. During these bonus spins you will aim to defeat up to 4 enemies; if you do an additional win bonus is paid (max 4x your bet).
Our Take on South Park Reel Chaos
South Park is a huge franchise and this slot really does it proud. It’s loud, off the wall at times and packed with little nuggets that made me laugh. The features are plentiful too, so it entertains in many ways. A great addition to NetEnt’s already strong video slot arsenal.
