Run Chicken Run Theme
On the face of it Run Chicken Run appears to be an old fashioned video slot and if each icon wasn’t animated and the slot didn’t include a duo of unique features it would be ;-). The designers have gone with a simple theme which is interlaced with powerful features and clever animation.
You’ll quickly notice that each of the symbols are animated when a winning payline is activated. These icons are largely different chickens with a mixture of eggs and wild symbols. No two animations are the same and each chicken has its own personality and are accompanied by different sound effects.
Both the music and sound effects can be independently muted using the two dedicated buttons in the bottom lefthand corner.
Curiously the default number of lines is one which can be increased up to a maximum of 30 using the central ‘bet one’ button. The line price button can be used to change the coin value to 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.25, 0.50, 1, 2, or 5 which combined with the line options creates a betting range of 0.01 to 150 in different currencies (the console simply displays numbers).
The auto spin panel displays 5 or 10 spins and can be configured with up to 1000 automatic spins which can be halted at any time by pressing the button for a second time.
Run Chicken Run Slot Features
The ‘egg basket’ symbol is wild and substitutes for others to create a winning combination. It can’t replace the bonus round or golden egg scatters though and doesn’t multiply any win.
The egg pot accumulates with every bet over 0.50 and is multiplied when 2 to 5 golden eggs appear on the reels. The egg pot is automatically won when 25 golden eggs have been collected. We really like the idea of this personal progressive jackpot and hope other slots include it in the future.
The bonus round is unlocked when 3 to 5 bonus icons appear on any active payline. During the bonus game you guess the gender of 5 hatching chicks, each correct choice awards bonus coins which are multiplied by your initial line bet at the end of the feature.
