The game begins once the player places a bet on the hand. He/she is then dealt 2 cards face up and the objective of the game is to be dealt a third card whose value lies between the first two cards. If the cards have the same value, then the player receives a 11:1 payout and if the two cards dealt are consecutive, then the hand is declared to be a “push”. If the player is dealt two cards that are neither consecutive nor equal, then the dealer deals out the third card, whose value must be in between the values of the other two cards for the player to win the hand.
