Our hero got to the treasure, and now he needs to get out of the reels before Ramses lays his revenge upon him. Help him navigate the six reels and four rows of symbols into safety in Ramses’ Revenge.

Theme and Symbols

Ramses’ Revenge is set in Egypt, or in the tomb of Ramses. It seems to be a bit more modern times in question, though the symbols are similar to what you will find in many other slots set in ancient Egypt, pyramids and such.

Danger and awe is brought in via sound effects, with animations concentrating on a bit of entertainment and action. It’s a quality slot with a theme that fits both on desktop and mobile screens.

Betting Options and Functions

As you might already know, ways to win is a system that doesn’t work quite like normal paylines. With four reels of four symbols each, the wins are connected by having matching symbols on subsequent reels, starting from the leftmost. Multiple matching symbols on a reel work to multiply the winning combination.

This usually results in somewhat low wins from symbol combos, whether they are three or six symbols long. Why? Because you can score so many concurrent wins at the same time. This is why the range of wins is from 0.20 to four times your total bet.

Features

The game isn’t too heavy on special features, but there are still a few that makes the reelplay more interesting.

First off, you have the explorer/adventurer. Just two of these symbols is enough to result in six bonus spins. During these spins, the mummy is a wild. They start in positions the explorer was originally. 

When more explorers land on the reels, the mummies move towards them and doing so award additional bonus spins. At the same time, the multiplier for the symbol increases by one. If there are more explorers than mummies, more of the latter will appear!

Fitting to the theme, you also have mysterious sandstorms. Appearing out of nowhere, waves of sands wash over the reels, leaving mystery symbols in their wake. All of these icons of mystery then turn into matching symbols.

Our Take

Ramses’ Revenge is a worthy addition to the collection of adventure slots. Relax Gaming has done a splendid job balancing basic wins and bonus features to bring action, prizes and entertainment on the reels. The game is perfect for a few spins as it is for a few more.
