Theme
The theme is from Peter Pan, and features himself as well as some of the lost boys. The take is quite cartoonish, which does honour the original well enough. The usual playing card ranks are there, and they should really have done away with them, but at least there are more themed symbol present than those. The music and sound effects are below the par when it comes to Push Gamings usual quality but drive their purpose well enough when compared to most other slots.
Betting Options and Functions
Nothing out of the ordinary here. You set the bet via the total bet button, which runs from 0.25 to 100 coins. This doesn’t affect the RTP or the prizes, simply works as a multiplier for the payouts. Five reels come in three rows, and the paylines extend from left to right through them. You have the usual options for autoplay, mute, and so on.
The playing cards return between two and a hundred times the line bet, the latter coming with a five symbol combo and meaning that you get back four times your total bet. The lost boys and Peter himself slowly raise this sum to five hundred times your line bet. Most of the time you are looking at something along a hundred times your line bet though.
Features
The wild works as wilds always do, substituting for all other symbols except the scatter. In addition to this, they have a very welcome feature which links any two wilds with each other, transforming all the symbols in-between into wilds. The scatter, in turn, appears on reels one, three, and five and launches free spins when each reel has one.
The free spins come with Pick a Fairy feature, which means that you initially get five free spins and get to pick some extra bonuses to go with these. Six fairies show up on the screen, and the player gets to pick them all out until the “start free spins” text shows up. Possible rewards are multipliers of up to ten, up to 25 extra free spins, instant wins, and extra wilds. You can up to five of any of these features, though a mix of them is always preferable.
Our Take
The theme manages no surprises, which would have been impossible anyway. The free spins do come with some surprises, and they work quite well. The basic game offers some nice prices, and overall the slot is very playable. No need to try in demo mode, just dive in and enjoy your spins.
