Theme

Party Parrot opens up with a very soft theme, a bit comical and parts cartoonish. It’s not what I would call spectacular, but it does offer a nice setting that is not overdone. There are a few animations, even if it is mostly birds flying away with your coins. Jungle sounds and the soft sounds of wins take care of the audios effects. The symbols are what you’d see in a parrot party; different sorts of birds.

Betting Options and Functions

You get to choose, in ascending order, how many paylines are active. Of course, it goes without saying that when the luck strikes you want to have all 25 lines on play. The bet is selected by combining the number of lines, amount of coins per line, and the coin value separately. There’s plenty of room for manoeuvring with bets, though most players probably choose to stay with the default setup.

The playing cards offer returns between two and a hundred times the bet, whereas the three iconic party birds pay out between 150 and 250 coins. The basic wins are quite small compared to most modern slots. The combination of wilds and paylines make up for this.

Features

Three or more free spin symbols trigger the bonus spins. Three, four, and five symbols give out 5, 10, and 15 free spins respectively. These are played on the same settings and reels as the base game, with the addition of sticky wilds.

Our Take

Party Parrot doesn’t look like much, which is probably why it manages to serve out such a surprise. The game offers the occasional animation, though otherwise the graphics and other artistic qualities are not exactly leading edge. The simple free spins and the versatile wilds keep the gaming interesting.
